rental Program overview

Rentals are made on a month-to-month basis and can be returned at any point without further obligation or extra fees provided the account is in good standing.

Payments made on rent-to-own instruments are applied towards the purchase of the instrument. When the account is in good standing, a 30% discount is available for an early payoff of the instrument.

New and used student line/entry level instruments are available under the rent-to-own program. All instrument rentals are issued on a first-come-first-serve basis.

The optional Damage and Maintenance Protection Plan is recommended for all instrument rentals to cover basic repairs and general maintenance.

Routine Maintenance – Standard wear and tear, including adjustments, tune-ups, and the replacement of felts, corks, and springs for band instruments. Tuning, seam repairs, bridge and soundpost adjustments for orchestral instruments.
Theft – If the instrument is stolen from a secured location, provided there is clear evidence of forcible entry. Please file a police report within 48 hours of the incident and provide a copy to our office for review.
Fire & water damage – Instruments damaged in documented fire or flooding incidents.

Accessories – Mouthpieces, ligatures, reeds, strings, bow hair and cleaning supplies
Specialty Services – Deep cleanings for woodwind instruments
Specific Scenarios – Loss, abandonment, malicious damage, irreparable damage, environmental damage due to improper storage.

Exchanges are available within the student line/entry level instruments. Exchanges cannot be transferred from one student to another.
For band instrumentsExchanges are possible after 6 months under the rent-to-own agreement.
Price of exchange instrument must be the same or higher than the existing rental instrument
A used band instrument can be exchanged for a brand-new instrument of the same kind. Price difference will extend the rent-to-own agreement or can be paid off early if desired.
